Displaydata is a venture-backed private company established in 2000.  They are the leaders in the design and supply of fully graphic electronic shelf labels (ESLs) and dynamic digital display solutions.


The Assignment

Following strategic investment from its long term investors, Display Data engaged Atherton Stone to assist with 4 business critical hires across 3 core business functions – Marketing, Technical Support and Operations.  The roles were split over 2 locations with each position reporting to a different line manager staggered over a 5 month period based on a budgeted hiring plan.


The Result

Atherton Stone successfully  completed the assignment identifying 4 individuals for Displaydata whilst adhering to the timelines set by the client on commencement of the engagement.  During the initial briefing, each manager was introduced and time scales set allowing a dedicated research team to produce a shortlist of 5 candidates for each position as soon as it became live.  Forward planning was key to the success of the assignment and meant that the average time span was 3 weeks from engagement to completion on each position.  Having access to the hiring plan as well as HR and individual line managers resulted in a effective recruitment campaign.
